McCain needs to stop being such a Ki** A**

In an attempt to attract moderate dems and get raves from the media, John McCain is coming off as a real butt kisser. It's so obvious it makes me sick! His original statement in which he distanced himself from the anti Obama ads in North Carolinda was all that was neccessary in the name of civil politics. I guess he thinks his continued criticism of the ads will inspire the press to proclaim him a nice guy and influence Obama, (should he be the nominee), not to attack him. What a dope!!!  If he really thinks playing kissy face now is going to earn  him any protection in the general election then perhaps he isn't smart enough to be President! The dems and Obama will attack him on everything they can, without regard to being civil. They will actually be out there trtying to win an election. Wow, what a concept!
Earth to McCain, if you want to be a Republican, then by all means, BE A REPUBLICAN.

Who cares what Bloomberg thinks!?

Go here and read this story about Bloomberg's insults directed at Whttp://wcbstv.com/politics/bloomberg.bush.criticism.2.702581.html

Then ask yourself if you really care what this arrogant, Democrat-turned-Republican-turned-independent, fence sitter thinks. He has decided against his own White House run because, well because he knows he'd get his butt kicked!!!!  If you're gonna spew out the crap he has, by all means, jump into the race, make your pitch to the voters, and see if they buy what you're selling!
He knows the answer that's why he has opted for the chicken sh*t course of action, which is to insult and criticize those who have at least tried to make a difference or have the guts to go out and put themselves in the public eye so those like Bloomberg can take cheap shots at them.
His billions of dollars and high powered influence may get him a lot, but it damn sure won't get him respect.

WHAT THE CLINTONS ARE REALLY UP TO....

What’s that smell?   Sniff, sniff, sniff.

Oh my gosh, it’s the Clintons, up to their old tricks again! (like they ever stopped)

I have a sneaking suspicion that Hillary is not waging what appears to be a losing battle against Obama for no good reason.

Quite the opposite, I think they have a reason and a very deliberate long term plan.

The scenario goes something like this;

Hillary takes her campaign all the way to the convention, and why not she has nothing to lose. If she gets the nomination great, she runs for President against McCain.

But, if she goes all the way and loses, she has divided the party, bloodied up Obama, given him less than a month to wage a massive campaign against his Republican rival before McCain-Feingold kicks in, and pretty much set the democrats up to lose in November.

Then, having already told her party that Obama couldn’t win, which will have silenced her critics, she begins her 2012 presidential campaign.

While she might not have been able to beat him in 2008, McCain will be a much easier opponent for her to vanquish after four years, especially with a continuing war in Iraq to frame her platform.

Based on the dynamics of this election cycle, this might just be the perfect scenario that will eventually lead to her being our first female President.

The Clintons are not stupid, quite the opposite. Everything they do and say is carefully

Planned and scripted. While most people are looking ahead to the convention, they are looking ahead to 2012!

So, all of you who are speculating a Clinton loss in 2008 will forever banish them from the political landscape had better stick your nose in the air, take a deep breath, and ask, “What’s that smell?”

"The Masses need a MYTH to move them to action"

What’s that smell? (sniff, sniff, sniff)

Why it’s Al Gore’s “global warming’ BS stinking up the place!

Talk about a load of crap! Gore is engaging in a classic Sorelian move, creating a ‘myth’ to move the masses to action.

He’s even got the likes of Al Sharpton and Pat Robertson joining together in an ad promoting Al’s cause. What’s next, Pelosi and Limbaugh hosting a love-in for GW?!

Gore recently said, “In ten years the ice cap from Kilimanjaro will be gone forever.” While this may in fact happen someday, it won’t be from GW as he claims. Research from real scientists, (you know the ones that actually go there and engage in gathering real data and responding with real facts), even some who support GW, say the recession of the ice cap is due to lack of snow and evaporation of the ice without thawing.

There is no doubt the inhabitants of this planet all need to take part in the total preservation of our resources and environment. There is room for thoughtful, constructive discussion resulting in thoughtful, constructive action. Preaching gloom and doom like Chicken Little does not qualify.

Gore has made a career out of exaggeration, and his GW rants are no exception. Because there is so much information and scientific evidence to contradict his claims, the true message and credibility of global preservation, (my term, henceforth referred to as GP and used in place of GW), suffers. (read this  http://www.washingtontimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071221/NATION/844993096/1001 )

Gore’s practice of talking down to, preaching to, and shaming people only reaches those already in his camp.

Other than a few really disturbed people, nobody wants the earth to self destruct under their feet. But they also don’t want a bunch of worthless information creating a bunch of worthless legislation that accomplishes nothing and infringes upon their lives.

A classic example is the federal legislation mandating the water usage for commodes in America. Legislation aimed at saving water wasted by the older models resulted in a product that often requires multiple flushes to do what the old one did with a single flush. The result, more water used. Brillant!  (go here for an article about this  http://www.jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/081099/opi_Tuedit3_.html  )

I’m not saying we should end the GP discussion, nor am I saying there aren’t problems to fix, and future ones to prevent.

I’m saying Al Gore needs to take a whiff of what he’s spreading and find a way to change the direction he is taking the GP discussion.

Mr President how about some Justice for Border Guards!

With a presidential election cycle well under way, our attention is fixed on the process that will determine who our next Commander In Chief will be.

Though you wouldn’t know it by the liberal’s continued assault on him, George W. is not running and is in the final months of his second term. But, before relegating him to the position of historical figure and lame duck president, there is some unfinished business that I think he should address.

One item in particular is a Presidential pardon for Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.  These are the two US border patrol agents who are currently serving 11 and 12 year prison sentences. They were convicted of putting a bullet into the buttocks of a drug smuggler when they intercepted him in a van carrying 743 pounds of pot. In the course of these officers carrying out their duties the smuggler received the gunshot but still escaped to the Mexican side of the border escaping American justice.

The prosecutors in this case aggressively pursued charges against the two American guards, going as far as seeking out the smuggler in Mexico and offering him immunity to testify against the two! (full story here  http://americanchronicle.com/articles/32372 )

In a colossal miscarriage of justice, the two were basically convicted and sentenced for failing to report the discharging of a firearm. Did I mention the smuggler went free to apply his trade another day and bring more drugs into our country?

I’m not suggesting the guards should not have been dealt some sort of punishment for  their misconduct, but there are people guilty of far worse crimes who walk away with a mere slap on the wrist compared to the 11 and 12 year prison sentences these men got!

So far the justice department and the President have not seemed interested in correcting this situation and freeing the guards. In spite of numerous petitions, phone calls, and emails the White House remains mute on this.

I think it is time for an all out email campaign telling Mr. Bush to intervene and pardon Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.

If you agree, take the time to email the White House and let the President know. While he probably doesn’t personally get or see the majority of communication received, he’ll know if a huge volume of emails, phone calls, or letters start to show up on this matter.

Go http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact  and email the President today. Tell him you support a pardon for both Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. And then email everyone in your contacts and ask them to do the same!
